Eugene Wong

Arts, Culture and Community Engagement

Eugene is a community and cultural engagement strategist. He helps people to incorporate cultural intelligence and balanced wisdom into their efforts to meet the contemporary needs of the world.

He is passionate about empowering people to connect more deeply, more sustainably and ultimately more effectively. He does this by building social structures and processes that make the path of least resistance the healthiest path to take.

To do this, Eugene draws on his unique range of experience as a lawyer, a social worker, a business manager and as a community development practitioner. He has also been a leader in the arts and culture sector for almost 20 years. Most notably, he was the executive director of Candlelight Productions, a performing arts company that uses art to strengthen community and shape culture. He is the Chief Story Shaper for A Stronger Narrative, a consultancy that empowers people and organisations to increase their impact on their target audiences.
